Titanium Head Tennis Racquet

I had to take a trip about 1 1/2 hours from home for an appointment so I decided to stop by the local Goodwill.  This one was a little more organized than mine and had some nicer quality items.  I grabbed this Head Ti-S7 that's in great shape.  All it needs is some new tape and it's good to go.

Haul:
Head Ti-S7 $6

Bad Weather Brings Bad Haul

It was raining sideways today which meant fewer people at Goodwill. Too bad it also meant fewer items for some reason. My son got another Cars 2 toy (a Tow Mater launcher!) and I picked up this vintage red Swingline stapler. Hopefully we'll have some better luck at the storage unit auction this weekend.

Goodwill's Presidents Day Sale

Goodwill had a good sale today. Unfortunately they opened the doors earlier than they advertised and I saw a lot of full carts when I showed up. I still scooped up a few good deals and my wife got a cart full of children's clothes so everyone walked away happy (especially my son, see his Cars haul in an earlier post).

Haul:
Smith Corona Coronet Super 12 Typewriter $9.50
Painting by "Kennedy" in nice frame
Rosie the Riveter Action Figure $2.80
Universal No. 72 Meat Grinder $6

Cars!

My son spotted this bag of Pixar Cars diecasts for $3

Thrift Store Saves the Day

I'm going to an "event" tonight and my wife worked hard to put together an outfit for me to wear. The only problem is she didn't realize I don't own any formal black shoes! Luckily a little thrift store that I rarely go to had these (along with only two other pairs of men's shoes).  $5 well spent.

Estate Sale Haul

I was pulling away from an estate sale relatively empty handed when I saw this amazing chunk of wood. I've been looking for something to put my beer bottle cap collection on, so when I saw this I knew I had to get it. After some haggling, I got the price down to $10 (apparently it was $80 the day before!)

$10 for this awesome butcher block
I plan on inlaying bottle caps in the shape of the United States of America with each state being represented by a beer from that state. When I get time, of course.
